As expected the south eastern suburbs getting smashed this morning & nothing but wind out this side of town. No surprises there, will be glad when this one is over. :x

Thunder, rain, strong southerly wind and 11c at 9am, looks like we might struggle to get to the 27c BOM were forcasting earlier. ;)

Yep round two coming through now in Hawthorn East / Camberwell area. Got a great view of a big grey cloud marching its way through the inner east.

Barely a mm overnight at home but expecting a fair amount today.

Love the sound of rain and Hail on the roof, think we are just on the edge of it here in Abbotsford. The SE suburbs will do well today, cells seem to be picking up on the travels across the bay.

In Bayswater today and it hasn't stopped raining/hailing since 8:30am. As expected, high heat content of Port Phillip Bay is quickly dissipating into the atmosphere and creating a very unstable airmass... It'll be interesting to see how much the Bay cools in the next two days.

Also, quite a few Metro & V/Line rail services are suspended this morning due to fallen trees.

Turning into quite an event...42mm at Weeaproinah, widespread 25 to 30mm through the West Gippsland, and Bellarine peninsula areas around Cape Otway.

Also Baw Baw has had 25mm already and would be covered in snow which will provide a big run off into the Thompson.

Should be some big totals with all the snow through the Alps which should be an awesome charge up for the big events just around the corner, and make run off for them much better.

Coastal suburbs and Dandenongs appear to be copping the brunt of the wind as expected, LOTS of tree down jobs coming through so take care out there :)

Wow, what's next? Got woken up here in Templestowe at 9am with heavy rain and strong winds. Just before another front passed by and brought thunder with it!

There's already snow at mount Hotham with and overnight temperature of -12o C. http://au.news.yahoo.com/vic/latest/a/- ... -victoria/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
