Awesome to see Gippsland get a good dump! Also good falls in North Central and NE Vic Eildon light Tower has had 45mm past 2 days with 33mm of that falling past 24 hours

A total of 11.7mm here for the event.
Yeah, was pretty stoked with that result, I think it was mainly from drizzle but it's better than nothing - although, my dog likes to jump on my bed at night and with muddy paws makes for a nice muddy bed!
I know the feeling about the dogs. Been dodging my Jack Russell's dirty paws all week, she is particulary bad at jumping up on things including people.
I'm a long time Epping boy, born, raised & lived there right up until 2 years ago.
Caroline Springs, Melbourne's meteorological boredom zone.

Ha! So literally up the road! Well I dare say that Epping probably did well out of this system too - more rain to come in the next few days so would be interested in what we get!
My dog is half Jack Russell and half Chihuaha - he jumps on everything but mostly for cuddles - not good with white sheets. Will have to change sheets tonight but worth it if we get the rain!
Got 32mm out of this first system with most of that falling last night.43mm for Oct so far, average 49.5.I'm expecting at least another 50 to 70mm by the end of the weekend.
Yesterday arvo/evening provided a total of 19.5mm here. Absolutely fantastic.
Mostly overscast NW'ly day followed, can see the moisture ahead of tomorrows system streaming into Vic on the IR loop - set up for a fantastic follow-up system.
