Weather station on Web

Post by Dane »

Hi, recently my PC crashed and i had to replace the motherboard and get a new Hard Drive. Since then my weather station has not been updating on the Net. cranny.bigpondhosting.com. I have no idea how to get things up and running, when it was put on originally a few years back a mate came over and helped me but he is now overseas. Any suggestions

Hi Dane,

I suspect you may have your weather station connected to a different port than what the software is expecting. Does "Weather Display" software display "Comm Port OK" in its title bar?

What make and model station do you have? Is it a COM port or USB type connection?

And don't forget to have the station connected and powered on before starting your PC.

Cheers
