Yes some amazing temperatures on the warm side.....as well as some very cold temperatures in the north due to persistant fog. Some of the warm temperatures are record Christmas temps, some places were the warmest in December for 80 years!
Also there are reports of some parts of Venice being underwater due to a very high tide and very strong southerly winds. The island of Burano is reporting all houses with their ground floors flooded. Also with very heavy rain about, rivers in northern Italy are showing signs of possible flooding. Also the warm temperatures are melting the snows from earlier in the week and also raising river levels!
North West:
Fine spells in Piemonte. Rain still falling in the Lombard Alps, with snow above 1300m. Temperatures rising. Very strong south westerly winds in Liguria with rough seas.
North East:

Cloudy in all regions. Possible showers in the Salento, Calabria, Campania and northern Sardinia. Maximum temperatures will be above average due to southerly winds. These strong winds will bring choopy seas.
Spring like temperatures are hitting Italy after the freezing temps of last week. However these warm temperatures come at a cost as its causing rain storms and meltng snows and these are flooding vast parts of the country. Italy is not having a good winter!! This however will clear for toda
