Frost here this morning after a single digit max yesterday and only 10.7° max today as well.
Gorgeous afternoon. Crisp, clear and about as warm as I ever need it to be!

2c this morning here. Lovely sunny afternoon for Equinox.

Looking ahead, Grand Final weekend might have some bonkers heat in NW Vic. But GFS has an absolute doozy of a cold front and Low following. Potentially a very volatile start to October. One to watch.

Ripper frost here this morning with -1C. After yesterday’s rain it made for a really thick frost which looked almost like snow.

Nice couple of days ahead before a weak front and possible trough. Big split across the progs and progs are also jumpy. Guess new thread time soon.

Nice weekend for most. Progs looks pretty dull for the week ahead, then heat returns. Looks dry for most this coming week away from the VIC coast and Tasmania. Going to turn in a very ordinary September for much of Oz. Melbourne is currently on track for driest September on record and near record warm.

Yeah the most prefect long weekend shaping up for Melbourne 3 days in mid to high 20s and maybe sneak a 30c early next week ahead of a strong cold front

Saturday going to be unreal light winds high 20s so many BBQs beach, pools be packed a great day for millions in Vic :D

Watch next weeks front could be 40c in the mallee and low to mid 30s Melbourne or a very hot and windy night but day only gets into the high 20s all on timing

I think Melbourne will have its hottest Sept on record and if currently driest then unless get random shower next 2 days will be driest as well

Oh how quickly things change this time last year flooding all over the place and only got worse.

Feel for the crops going to be roasted next few weeks
Bring on the heat and stroms

Hard to know what the next thread is. Weather is all over the shop this next ten days. Mild then hot, possible record hot for the time of year. Had missed it, but Melbourne will smash the driest July to September on record. Also record warm. Really sets the state up for early fires if it doesn’t rain very soon.
