Seems we had a another hit here compared to almost all other areas. The Davis registered 37mm which was well above any Melbourne Water site within the vvicinity so I trekked out to check the manual gauges both of which showed 35mm, as I purposely emptied them yesterday I take all as being close to accurate. Had a peak rate of 58mm/h around midnight.
49mm here. The rain yesterday evening was very heavy at times, along with some nearby lightning and thunder in the early stages of it and a couple of big thunder claps. 30mm up to midnight and then a further 19mm overnight with showers that sounded torrential at times on the roof.
We also had our strongest wind gust of the year here yesterday afternoon, with 76km/h. Thankfully no significant damage but definitely a day with lots of 'weather'.
23mm here of which 17mm with main band before midnight and the rest during the wee hours...looks like a gusty Westerly for the next few days with passing showers
25mm here from last nights thunderstorms and showers, a few mm short of the Nilma North aws. Nice to get a few rumbles again, although there wasn’t much of a light show.

I must say Not looking forward to tomorrow morning
Nice day here after it with a brisk westerly. The air is quite dry so showers are getting shredded well west of here. Colder and more unstable tomorrow so should see more showers, and possible hail. Snowfalls dropping locally to below 500m.
This event is really one for western Tasmania with 100-200mm forecast Good for the dams after a very dry year to date.
