Cloudy and occasionally foggy day here with a few periods of drizzle and light showers that have given just 2.2mm, not that we actually need more rain at the moment. But this is probably the first time in a couple of months that models have overcooked the rainfall projections for here.

4mm since 9am at work in Macedon.
MTD is 66mm. Sept average is 86mm.
YTD is 590mm. By the end of September for the last two years we were already on 645mm each year.
It's not a high rainfall year here.
It's not often that Mount Macedon tracks less than us. We're sitting on around 100mm for September and it has definitely felt like a wet month here. With the La Nina and negative-IOD really cranking (plus a predominantly positive SAM), I expect the Macedon Ranges will get a solid drenching over the next couple of months.
Yeah Melb never really in it, low to far north but decent rains central ranges up into the NW and still coming down there tonight.
Just had to wait SB another 20-30mm for you with this event and still raining by the looks.
Wet out east tomorrow so might get some of that Ely drizzle Petros lol
All easing clearing later this week then touch humid, E to NEly flow odd shower or TS about the state over the weekend spring like indeed.
Then BIG event mid next week EC very stormy with it but all models have heavy rain in the NE gonna cause big flood problems
Daylight savings this weekend as to its Oct so fun 4 to 6 months on the way YAY

Nearly 40mm at the Airport AWS here this week, but only 23mm in Kangaroo Flat. Starting to cause some problems on NE side of town.
Update - now under a rain train and it's belting down.
I’m in Epsom and there’s flash flooding. Been non stop for hours.

Hey Snowfall, that post was for Macedon, not Mt Macedon.
At home on the mountain I have had about 150mm for September but our YTD is still only around 740mm, so a good deal less than your place at Sth Gis.
Home- "Shepherd's Bush" at Mt Macedon. 870m
Work- "Bolobek" at Macedon. 430m

Ah! And always interesting to see how much topography makes a difference.
21mm here for the past couple of days. Plenty of drizzle and showers overnight and yesterday evening. Still gloomy out there now with the occasional bit of drizzle.
The weak low travelled to the ENE from the Corawa area overnight, all models have it tracking away as a weak low pressure system out to sea eastwards from the mid Nth NSW coast by tomorrow night:
Not much here from it, did have a period of rain in the early hours, just the odd easterly drizzle patch now, a tad over 6mm for the event here. Dont expect a great deal more unless the system bombs as it nears the NSW coast (which is good because I have gear that would need shifting on the Macalister R).
I've had 65mm since Sunday night. It's still drizzling like crazy and windy as hell tonight as well.
5° min and only 8° max. Third day in a row with a less than 9° max.

All too north of here with the main system, but now playing catch- up with a front which has found itself on the Northside of the incoming high. Tis currently almost stalled near Hobart with heavy drizzle and cloud at about 50m above sea level. Slow movement means rainfall gradients are intense, with some spot around 1-2mm while other have had more than 25mm since midnight. Just on 5mm here.
Is very wet down here in southeast Tasmania now, but dry in western Tasmania. Contrast between westerly and easterly rain events
Looks like another big system from the tropics for next week. Also quite a warm system. Guess we will see how the details play out.
