Lovely calm sunny spring morning here, got to 22C (hottest day since winter), then we got a gusty northerly that gradually backed to the WSW over the arvo, leaving us with chilly WSW breeze and the odd rain shower now. Baro 997 hPa.

Picked up close to 10mm this afternoon in what turned out to be a heavy rain band. MTD is now up to 66mm. Currently it’s 8c after a max today of 13.9c.
Good to see Bendigo and northern parts getting good falls lately.

Welcome 20mm down in Howden. Rained almost all day, mostly moderate. Water tanks are finally full after hitting almost empty back in early April.
Heavier to the east with a few spots topping 50mm.
Not expecting a lot the next two days with topography shredding most the bands. Looks better for VIC and west/northern Tasmania.

Baro only added 1 hPa here past 24 hrs, 998 atm.
Had a sunny morning with a strong NW'ly typical of this time of the year , wind backed off as the arvo went, got a trace of rain, and heavy cloud looming in from the W. Has gotten cold past hour.
Heard on 3AW that Sth Melbourne got a rain dumping this arvo.

Typical Spring weather today with heavy short lived showers and rumbles now starting to show up. That South Melb downpour mentioned earlier by Petros from yesterday was intense for about 15 min - easy over 10 mm

Short sharp burst of rain here. Just a few mm today.
Photos are circulating of a decent hailstorm in Seymour today.
As for the coming week - some divergence on where the low tracks on Wednesday. Most of the rain could be North of here.

Almost a frost this morning and clear skies. Our event total is 41mm. That looks about it, and I think we'll be pretty dry until the end of the month now.
Grass will grow like crazy.
Falls Creek reporting another 22cm in the past 24 hrs. Nearly a two-foot storm over the weekend for them.
