Raining here now. Not expecting a whole lot. Maybe 10mm?
Incidentally, some of the big reservoirs are stubbornly low. Ie. Lake Eppalock is still under 50%, and Malmsbury Res is only 30%. Upper Coliban and Lauriston are nearly full, so hopefully it won't take too long to fill.
13.3 degrees here at the moment (9.30pm) in Launceston. Actually higher than our June daytime average! Melbourne is a crazy 16 degrees - wouldn't be out of place in January!
7mm overnight. Not that cold though. Sunday and Monday look quite chilly with an upper cold pool drifting over, but not that wet. Tracking close to average rainfall for June.
5.8mm overnight here, taking the month to just over 53mm. It's now sunny and 9c. We actually made it up to 14c yesterday in that north wind, which felt really mild and was the warmest June day so far.
Been travelling, and not much weather to post about. 6mm here yesterday, a few fast but mostly dry coldies but main feature was the wind. Incoming front atm, but not a lot in it. Might squeeze out a mm or two. Nice sparks down over Bruny Island atm, but too far away to hear any rumbles.
It has been really mild for the best part of a week. Visible snow on kunyani has largely gone after the huge dump two weeks back.
Nice band of storms here last night. 6mm in quick time. Month is on about 80mm, and the 50,000 litres of water tanks are almost full.
Looks like weather the next ten days will be focussed in northeast Oz, with potential for rare solid falls from the Top End across much of Queensland. Bad weather if you are going to Queensland for the school holidays
