Looks like a humid north-easterly feed will push showers and possible rain into northern Victoria from late tomorrow, with southern Vic getting something late in the week as the moisture links up with a trough and cold front.
Not super confident about this one yet (for our area at least), but it shows up on the latest BOM 4-dayer, so worth a thread as the details unfold.
Models are still rather jumpy so details may change a little more over the next 24 hours. But based on where things stand at the moment, showers/rain extending from the west from tomorrow, with the main focus on Friday and into Saturday as a cold front comes through. In general, looks like some very good falls in western parts of the state and also to the east of Melbourne. But most areas can probably expect more than 10mm+.
Locally, we're likely to be in a rain shadow for some of it, so not expecting huge falls here but anything would be a useful follow up on the rain around mid-month.
Nothing much happening here today. Friday-Saturday might be quite wet if the NW cloudband delivers (looks rather "Negative IOD-esque", and a portent of what's to come this winter) ...
We had very light rain here last night, but it wasn't enough to register in the gauge. The sky currently looks as though it is about to pour, but there's very little appearing on the radar. Quite a mild night for late April, with 13.7c here as a minimum.
8mm of drizzle this week. But tonight has been downgraded to 10-15mm at most. Still a decent top-up likely for the end of April. My lawns and garden have been enjoying it.
Yeah torrertail rain down here atm. 15-25mm tonight some spots in hills could get 40mm
Nice rainband for the state though much lighter falls up north
