Hopefully the southerly will not interfere and kill it
On occasions it can enhance it and act as a trigger

Got to 29.9 a short time ago so nearly my first 30. Initial line very fast moving so gusty winds and little rain. Interesting if anything behind it for central parts of the state. (as in away from coast)
Edit: Section approaching Meredith looking a bit angry

Great description of what happened here, though we had about 5 or 6 hailstones as well. Possibly dodged a bullet on that front, quite solid hail core to my immediate south.

Great pics Mike. We dodged that hail core thankfully but still landed some heavy rain with loud overhead thunder and a couple of close lightning strikes. 5.8mm, most of which fell in about a 15 minute stretch. It's moving much faster than yesterday. There's some more quick moving showers/storms coming in. You should get a bit with this round Mike, maybe also where you are Gordon.

That scud is moving SOOO fast before the storm coming in. Also a bit of a dust storm too from the strong winds

Just turned feral out there. Decent shelf cloud followed by lots of scud in several directions. Wind gusts and raining now.

5.8mm here with the storms. Thick fog and drizzle then came in on the wind change, so we’ve had another 1mm since. All up, 29.8mm for the two days. Got lucky yesterday with a deluge.
