22mm here so far (since midnight). Mostly lighter rain over the last couple of hours, but looks like a bit more to come from the radar.

Definitely not disappointing this one :D Just passed 30mm at home in FC. Is a southern Dandenongs special with moist unstable nwly flow almost always clocking up well in the Ferny Creek to Lysterfield area. A couple of nearby AWSs are close to 40mm, with most sat in the 25-30mm range.

The wind change is just west of Geelong with areas around Melbourne in convergence of northeast and westerly flow. Still has to be a chance for more to fire in the next two hours.

At Walkerville we’re up to about 15mm. Been heavy bursts and a few rumbles, but comes and goes.

Great results so far everyone; particularly like your 20mm Strato!

Thinking we night scrape to 25mm today, but it now looks like more showers on and off all week so could end up with very handy totals.

Rain started at 5:30 this morning and still raining now. Has not stopped once.

Feel like we need another station down this way, Frankston is too far North and Cerberus is too far east.

Might be time to invest in my own PWS.

Hard to tell what we've had here but it hasn't stopped for 11 hours.

Got an awesome sound recording (full dynamics) of 4 simultaneous flangs bracketing Wallan, so not complaining. Even rattled the windows!

Mansfield was late to the party but just passing 15mm now with moderate rain still falling. No storm action but hoping the line to the NW makes it here a bit later. Happy to see everyone getting something decent almost state-wide

34mm for today in FC with 4mm before 9am. Pretty consistent 25-35mm falls across the area with a couple of gauges showing nearly 40mm around Kalorama and again around Upwey. Very good event, and just about makes up for the ordinary October. Unfortunately our local AWS is down, and the Mt Dandenong AWS tends to underread because it is very exposed.

Progs look unstable and showery basically for the next week. Gotta be a chance we could crack 100mm by this time next week :D

Main focus shifting east overnight but still unstable with showers elsewhere for tomorrow and the odd storm.

Another day and another trough :D Weaker system moves through today with marginally unstable conditions so showers and the odd thundery. Doesn’t look overly wet, but a bit of a top up. The upper trough is sat a long way to our west so steering is still from the northwest even though we have light winds at the surface. In the far northeast the system from yesterday continues to drop rain.

System for tomorrow is a more classical front with a sharp upper trough. The airmass becomes quite wintery with 850Ts dipping to near 0C so will be a cool, wet and windy one. EC has local falls over 25mm in the usual wet spot, and quite widespread 5-15mm. Will round out this system nicely :D

Then a cold wet and windy reminder of the week (with a brief clearing in Tuesday).

21mm in gauge. Best rain since mid June.

Perhaps another 5mm with tomorrow's cold front. Quite a polar outbreak possible on Friday this week.

That is a great fall for Bendigo, and there should be a bit more to come.

Got lucky here with a string of cells overnight; bursts of very heavy rain. Another 13mm so 29mm for the event and the atmosphere still has that mild humid feel.
