See HERVEY BAY had something approaching 200mm in a couple of hours, now that's "RAINING" !

At Manly West today, the dew point climbed steadily to 25C. The gusty SE change arrived at 1440. On the western side of Moreton Bay at least, this change mixed with the humid air and briefly produced a sea fog with the visibility down to 1000 metres for a few minutes as the change pushed through. The visibility has since improved but a general sea haze now prevails. Max wind gust so far today is E 45Kph at 1539, which is only 21Kph short of the max gust from 2 days of pounding by TC Alfred.
