Hey Shell,

Happy New Year to you and everyone!

I kept going over the holiday break with almost everyday being active with 8-13km walks/runs and lots of weights.

I ate terrible things while I was away and had tonnes of cider but I did not care! It was nice to let my hair down and have a good time.

I think I put on no weight, nor lost any over the festive period but I have lost another kg so far this year.

Keep smashing it at the gym, outdoors or whereever! The weather is just great at the moment despite the hot days!

I find it hard to get the real big exercise in when it is really hot, having to really watch the weather and plan around that. I have done about 60kg of cardio this week on walking/running alone and weights weights weights. I am going to take it easy today, might get to the gym if I feel up to it, but otherwise a swim and a BBQ! :)

Happy New Year Shell!! :)

Yes Happy New Year to you also. Did Miss you and your posts..
I smashed out a session at fitlife today was a body bag session followed with gloves and pads,
OMgosh.. put in hard work but couldnt get up to 100% commitment, but that would be due to the lack of this sort of exercise over the dec jan, but Im getting back there.. very happy with my fitness anyhow.. and my fexability.. can only get better.
Im still wanting you to come and try it one day with me.. i still have these 10 days free... up to you..
81.6kg.. but dont tell anyone.. was down to about 78.2, although Im still ok with this and working on dropping waiting for school to start and then it will be flat out again..
edit.. did a 10klm walk monday, dvd session in the garage tuesday, gardening wed, bit slack was busy with work and home chores.
sat will be my next big session.. gawd i feel good getting back into it.. pumped after today then I washed my in laws car.

Yeah I put on about 3kg then took them off as soon as I got back into NORMAL duties again, work, study etc...

Did nothing yesterday apart from laze around in the pool. I guess I did weights, throwing my seven year old nephews through the pool - so I did some work haha but generally it was my cheat day and loved it!

Might go for another 15km walk tonight depending on weather if it cools off enough. Or might wait till tomorrow afternoon. 65km for the week now in running/walking so a lot has happened!

I ran 21km yesterday in the heat of the day burning 2300 calories. Ended up with a time of 1hr52mins. I was real happy with that. Clocked up 80km of walking and lots of weights and lost just on 1.3kg. So was really happy with that.

Back to the gym for row and a weights session to give the legs a rest.

Thanks Michelle :D

Good to know someone who has done the program I'll be sure to pick your brain. And yes agree it is hard to find the energy at time to workout but as MB says you've got to JFDI!!!! I will most certainly keep you up to date on my progress.

Tuesday Steps
Wednesday Session.
getting pretty good at this Boxing now.. well I mean I have some puff left as boxing is always at the end of a class and I can get through it. friend I boxed with dragged me for a jog after the class, i did that short stint and will work on longer one next time.
during class on rough one minute drill noted 20 burbees in the minute. Might just double check that again as i only was doing ? 16 in fitness test..
back is holding in there.
