Got my new camera yesterday, loving it, I'm addicted to it already. Can't wait for a decent light show. Here's a photo of it. Canon Powershot IX130 IS. :)

Anyway here's a photo of the sky tonight, lovely pleasant evening out there. Taken on manual, focal length 15.5mm, 1/500s, F4.5, ISO 80. Facebook killed it, so I'm putting here.

Yeah I am, very pleased with the quality. :D I can't put it down, I'm going to try for better shots of the moon tonight. Now that I've got the hang of the manual settings.

Last night's shot. As you may notice, I have made my own personal watermark using the GIMP, now that I'm taking better photos, I don't want them getting stolen, not that I think you guys would do that. :)

Bust today, saw one CG from a lone cell that quickly died. I took some cu pics though.

Some shots form Friday's storm. Some of you already may have seen these if your on facebook or something but anyway.

Just stills, as I couldn't take exposures. My camera doesn't have a B setting and I'm limited to 15 second exposure and lightning was too unpredictable, but anyway here they are.

nice lightning shots. really like that you got the close up looping of raw electricity.

I abandoned the gimp for iwatermark pro - makes it faster to export.
POW! ZAP! I don't chase storms, I patiently wait for them to come to me.... Usually the soaked guy with the dry camera, atop a mountain, out of running distance from the car...
