That downpour came out of nowhere, was out at South Warrandyte and it was bloody loud on the roof, couldnt even hear the vacuum
Looking at the radar and I reckon that small red dot that appeared in 1 frame was right over my head

Wow, where did that come from? Loud thunder, then a few quieter ones in quick succession. Cell heading straight at me.
EDIT. Now getting long ripping thunder and it's louder and very close. The rain has just begun

my exact thoughts tizza, that was massive. loudest ive heard in a long long time. in bed, scared the crap outta me. Very heavy downpour but only for 5 mins.
Still some decent rumbles.

heavier rain has come back, reckon im just a tad too south/ west from the black core on radar. Any updates from nortcote/ thornbury/ heidelberg way?

That small but farely intense little cell coming through the CBD is throwing sparks out about every 2 minutes

Its full on excitement here at the usually storm-free zone of Camberwell East. Gutters overflowing with the heavy volume of rain. I had to lift the rear rolladoor to release the floodwaters in the back yard. Pity the neighbours when the tidal wave hits down the lane! Still a few rumbles as the cell moves East.

Went outside under the carport to watch it pass over. Crazy amount of rain over about 5 minutes and that lovely slow rolling thunder that crackles and builds up across the sky. And according to the radar just now I was only under yellow!!!!
Nice surprise to end the evening
