50mm of rain between 5 and 6 pm, water everywhere, dam has come up at least a foot,
Was driving back from Ballarat to Scarsdale right in the thick of it.... Never seen anything like it.

:afraid:

Doppler wind is crazy too . Winds flying in every direction at different heights.

Pretty intense rain here too - couple of local roads cut by flooded creeks. About 25 mm so far.

steveco, all the info for posting pics is on the site. Also if you just want to upload from your computer to your post look at the bottom left of your post below Submit and you will see Upload attachment. When you click on that you can Choose File and then click the Add the file button. I'm about to go offline so can't help any more than that

FINALLY some weather.

Some thunder and CC's around and the rain has just started dribbling down.

Looks like Ballarat copped a bit judging by emergencyvic.info

Wishing I was in Woodend right now, they seem to have been under a beauty of a storm for about an hour. The dots on the wz radar just blanket the whole area out.

Just went into it. Cloud ahead of it was moving east to west, cloud then change to west to east :o Black as night out here now with frequent rumbles. The most dramatic sky I've seen here in years. Now just waiting for it to drop...

21mm very welcome so far, should see some more rain activity over night prob less stormy but more rain is welcome it was so dry, my river was looking very sick, now flowing nicely! Should be wet tomorrow morning still storm risk but more coastal should clear inland and heat up. Sunday could have a last sting in the tail before the SW winds send this tropical humid moisture away.

Settling down into a nice rainband - 8.2mm so far.

Managed to time my visit out to the carport nicely by seeing a BIG CG out to the west, maybe 1km away or so - three strikes!

Saw a report that Springvale Rd is flooded between Kingsway and Waverley Rd in Glen Waverley.

The most wonderful torrential heavy soaking rain here since 5.30pm
We have had 23 mm and it's still pouring down out there.
Dead calm and the lightening has stopped.
It is beautiful! This means we will stay green here now til the end of Summer.
Just in the nick of time!
So happy!
