Seems to be losing it's intensity on radar as it heads towards the SE suburbs and The Dandenongs but can hear the thunder

Thanks Shell :P :P :P

It's now picked up here, hailing right now, regular bursts of thunder etc. Enjoying the show !

Decent burst of activity and fairly heavy rain even though I could see sky through it?

So obviously the long rolls of thunder, pea sized hail, violent wind gusts, overflowing drains and hammering rain at our place right now is just a figment of my imagination? :)

Just had to take cover in the local St Kilda BP. Rain and hail reduced vis to 50 metres for a few mins during that squall line. Hail was heavy but small. Rain intense.

Heaviest rain I've seen since last summer/autumn .. temp went from 16 cin sth Melb to 8c in StKilda within just a few minutes. Temp now back up to 12c.

Feels like Spring!

Really complex and cool stuff down here. Went from balmy with bright sunshine to being engulfed by a really active spring type storm. Lots of thunder and lightning, heavy rain all over in 10 minutes. Light drizzle now but sun trying to poke trough again.

Note: check out the radar for Nortern NSW. Some cracking storms near Coonabarabran.

Woop! Woop! We got ourselves a thunderstorm, yeeeeeharrrr! :hysteria: :bringiton: Had a bit of rain from an earlier band, nothing from this main line yet, but lots of rumbling and a couple of flashes, that's enough for me :D

Amazing temp drop with the storms from 11 C to 3 C in a few minutes. Heavy small hail and then wet snow. Cleared briefly and back up to 7 C, now rain and light hail.

LIttle bit of rain here now, some absolutely cracking thunder and lightning but I think the main stuff is going to just miss us to the north. I reckon I just saw two bits of hail too lol.

Was just about to post this and it just started hailing in earnest, windows are awash, quite heavy, lasting less than a minute (the hail), rain coming in gusts with the sun shining behind it. Good afternoon's entertainment :D

Yep Shell, happens to all of us at some point. Last year was pretty disappointing for here, for me anyway, but that was mainly because when we did get something here at home, I always seemed to be away at Eildon lol! 'Twas a frustrating year, but it's always nice to know that someone's getting something!
