Brilliant shots Aus!!!!!

Absolutely bucketed down in Abbotsford for about 15 minutes!! Gutters ran bankers and it was a bit difficult to see the building across the road for a couple of minutes....couldn't hear a thing under the tin roof........will have to go and check the Yarra River later - they finally took the debris away from the last flood...just in time for the next one!! These mini-rainbands are ripping through very quickly today. Maybe trough won't hang around for long?

I'm at the Council Offices in Doncaster and we had the same thing - some lightning, lights flickered and long rumble. Glad we still have power, almost lost all of my work! :)

Bucketing down here, and one distant rumble so far. Flash flooding in the street and I already have 8mm!

Its bucketing down again! 44mm so far today by Kris' station. Rain guage here only had 21mm so far. The driving rain would have missed my manual guage though. Plus 37mm yesterday by Kris' station, makes the total by his 81mm, and according to my manual guage, just 45mm. Hmmm!

Flash flood warning just updated also says that the rain will ease in western districts late arvo and central areas early evening so plenty of action to come.

surprisingly not much rain here in bayswater. Constant moderate rain rate. Plenty of flashes and rumbles however.

Keeping an eye on the activity around Renmark, could be a interesting area of development.

A bit surprised that the rain is still going, looked like we were going to get a bit of a gap by the BOM radar but it's been constant.

Still quite a few rumbles around but not as loud or as close.

6mm so far this morning and still ticking over.

Heavy rain has stopped here in East Camberwell. Couldn't really call it a storm as being reported on some media outlets - just heavy rain here causing the gutters to run enthusiastically.
