Tizza, only if reports of large hail are received. We have a SWW for Flash Flooding and Damaging Winds, so most of the TS phenomena are covered.
Thanks Sniper, I thought that they had to warn of possible lightning strikes, that's all. Do you know how long ago they stopped issuing just "Thunderstorm Warnings"

Rain is just getting heavier and heavier. It has the feel, intensity, and look of Sept 5 system. So far 13mm since 9:30am.

WOW! Could see the hill in the distance disappearing, then thunder, and all the kids over at the Primary School screaming, then I could see the driving rain over on the school roof, and i heard it over the back neighbours roof and still had a few seconds to get inside! AMAZING! BUCKETING DOWN!!! Beleive it or not, its nowhere near as heavy as yesterday

I just came back from picking up the car from Toyota Deer park & got caught right in the middle of that storm. Decided to race home before I went back to work, roads flooded everywhere, complete whiteout! Just managed to get the car through a flooded section of rd in my estate. 13mm in the gauge in total from it when I left at 10:45am.

Just noted the updated flood warning for the Loddon river has falls 50-75mm and possibly 100mm today and becoming heavier around midday and was issued around 9.30am. So something big possibly still on the cards. Might still have to get the boat ready, if I had one. :o

Few structure pics from last night at Mt Tarrengower, it was blowing a gale the whole time up there and made long exposures useless but I wasn't going home with nothing.

These are taken at 800 ISO and shorter bursts to not have to much blur.
