Very nice Robo (post some of your others to), it's the same thing I could see but a bit further WNW of Berwick, it looks like you were on Old Coach Rd?

Will post mine soon as just had dinner.

Go for it Rob, if you can make them clickable thumbnails it's preferable, but yes, definitely post them in here :D

That shot you've taken exactly mirrors what we were seeing flying past our windows, it was just incredible. Great capture, well done :)

G'day stranger! Nope just taken at home not far away from old coach road, was tempted to go around for a better view but had little time.

Ah, go for it mate, I think the whole don't clog the thread up with images thing is more of problem when there is a big outbreak and a lot of people out chasing and using the forums on their phones and whatnot.

If you get in trouble tho, I didn't say anything haha

A belated entry as the power has just come on, went off with a bang after a huge flang just around the corner hit one of the new trannys. Watched it form over the bay, no camera of course, what started as a straight line bunched into weird fists and whoosh down she came, very cold rain compared to what we have been having. Lost any visibility due to the torrential rain, 20 or so rumbles, couldnt see any flangs as the it was like pea soup, they must have been above the very low cloud. Then BANG all go BOOM finish.

The rain stopped suddenly, the sun came out and now it is as if nothing had happened, the flash flood in the street just a memory of leaves on the footpath.

Last radar I saw was abt 5.10, does anyone have a link to the radar after that time? It looked like it was going to skirt me by 500 yards so out I went and got belted.

Some pics from the backyard.

This was taken just a few minutes after I saw it coming, I don't have such a good view like Robo's place lol

A few in sequence, this was also when I saw a nice branching CG on the north side of the rain core.

Bahahaha ... :D Sure u are !!! so start putting them up!
Only if i could improve my camera skills (camera with half a million settings) and if ONLY i had one of those lens that allowed me to take a Panoramic pics!
I could fit most of the storm into one frame and was using my smallest lens.

You don't need a special lens, Rob. Do you have a DSLR? All you need to do is take a series of photos with overlapping features, then join them with software (Photoshop or others)

Still great pics, Steve! Not helping my SDS tho!

Ive try'd doing that however one frame was darker and the other lighter and didnt work out .. so i'll go hunt down a lens or even ask Santa.
Riki has taken some great examples using it wonder what lens it is if your reading Riki?
