Hosing down here with that rain band.

Looks like a fair few trees down in the Kyabram / Tatura / Murchison / Euroa area from that band of rain/storms that is tracking NW-SE.

52mm now, quite a bit of small hail and thunder about an hour ago.
My June mtd is now 211.5mm. A very good month.

Rain has stopped here, and looks to be about it for now. Great to see so many big totals reported. We finished up with 31.6mm. So Access-C was pretty spot on for us in the end. That takes us up to 128mm MTD, and well above average. Temp has dropped - currently 7.3c.

56mm so far. Had some good heavy downpours on that squall line mid afternoon. Some gauges nearby are around 75mm. Just south of Trentham has a gauge on 89mm for the day. Access C nailed the intensity on the rainfall gradient.

139mm MTD. 256mm since May 1st. Locally, the wettest May and June combined in 24 years :)

12mm here for the event. Looks to be nearly over, with just a shower or two to come. Strong rainshadow with the upslide focussed in northern areas and then the upslope flow. Very much a northcentral through northeast event as picked by the models. Good to see those areas get a drink after the ordinary start to the year.

We’re on about 105mm MTD so just snuck above average. Second month in a row :D

City has hit 49.8mm MTD which puts it 0.3mm above average. First month for the year it’s got to average (or above).

Chilly and foggy here now. Down to 6C after a pretty balmy for us 13C.

Edit> despite the modest fall it poured down briefly. At one point the rain rate hit 100mm/hr.

I wonder if this one was a tornado or microburst? Pretty significant damage about 15 km East of here.

Also, lots of damage around Goornong. Local hall has lost its roof apparently.

That damage is extreme. Can’t imagine that being possible unless winds topped 150km/hr (at a guess). Would expect a survey. There was a big band of storms, so wouldn’t surprise if something was embedded.

Here’s the radar around the time of the storms.

That "hosing down" lasted only a minute or so but it was amazing to feel as it moved through. Very exciting, very un-like the usual Melbourne winter feeling.

Yeah, almost looks like the sort of damage a F2 or F3 tornado would inflict. Takes a lot to more or less completely flatten a brick veneer house...

Impressive totals and gradient :o Guessing northwest will end up well above average for the month while the southeast will end up way below average :o Fairly similar in Vic with NW facing areas have done really well, while those facing southeast have struggled a bit.

1mm more here overnight. Feels cold with a blustery westerly, but that won’t stick for long with another fairly mild week ahead (first week of July is historically the coldest of the year).
