Was just looking at that storm near Renmark, on the Adelaide radar it's red, on the Mildura radar it's dark green. Watch out if you see red on the Midura radar I say. :)

Really enjoying reading all the posts regarding the action out west, keep them coming in guys. :D

Nothing happening here. Only action so far is a frightening encounter with a huntsman earlier in my shed! :spider: :cussing:

Well rain not all that heavy. Still solid but more like thundery rain. Thunder rattling the whole plant though! Not overly comfortable sitting in a room on the top of a 30m tall STEEL plant! :o

Just took the dogs out and it's still warm. Belgrave saying 23.1C. No annoying insects as it's a little windy here atm keeping them away.

The model doesn't guarantee that anything will hold, but I'll check out the most likely scenarios for you.

edit - no storms within 200km of Mt Gambier radar.

What software is that? The Morlake cell looks like it's moving S.E to me on BOM 256km. Or is the radar a little deceptive?

Been watching this Adelaide radar all day
I have never seen anything like it..and some amazing storm pictures from over the border
I cannot ever remember a storm/rain requence like this year..reminds me of Nth Qld
2 questions:
What are the chances of Central Vic seeing this type of action tomorrow or will it been more of a thundery rain event ?
Will Melbourne be effected by the Rain shadow by the forecast Northerlies ?

A monitor that comes with your ASWA subscription.

Basically, you tell it where you are, and if it sees red/dark red cores on the radar (you can adjust the sensitivity) it tells you where they are and how far off they are, and your computer makes a rumble noise.

Additionally, it's got a couple of lightning trackers, and some data logging can be done. A few other nifty things I'm yet to figure out.

Essentially, it factors in all of the models and available data - things you can probably get elsewhere, but just puts them all in one handy place.

Looks like a few showers developing to the NW of Melb near Macedon, will keep an eye on them. The stuff over W Vic will take ages to get here, if it doesn't die before it gets here.
