Moo, I've done The Aus Open and Wimbledon. Wimbledon was 2001 when I saw every one of Pat Rafter's matches including the final to Goran in the front row. I also scored Pat's Wimbledon towel :) I camped and slept on the pavement for two weeks to get the front row tickets. It was tough going but I wanted to experience it.

Sooooooooooo jealous!!!!!! :hissy:

Think the camping facilities have improved since your experience Robyn. I read for this years event they set up a camp ground at the nearby golf course with showers, loo's & catering!

Wow that's an improvement. I knew quite a few people that were going there through Pat's web site I ran and I gave one girl money for two weeks so I could shower at her place. The only day you couldn't queue was the semi final but Pat's brother Pete got me and friends into the players stand that day

The other day I was starving, since we have hardly any food in the house at the moment, and I discovered that water crackers, topped with mayonnaise tastes fantastic. My family think Im disgusting, but man they are delicious!! Thought I would share, :D

Savoys and tomato sauce work well together too. Even better smothered in parmesan cheese and blitzed in the microwave. :D

Had to have a laugh at this when I saw it, from Weatherzone this morning...

Thursday 22:00 EST
A cold front will sweep through the Bight, bringing a renewed burst of shorts and winds to SA, VIC and TAS late in the day. :roffl:

I hate it when we get bursts of shorts, makes it difficult to drive anywhere, damned things cover the windscreen everywhere you go!

Christchurch has been shaken by a magnitude 5.5 earthquake. There are no reports of injury or major damage to structures.

Wow after today having our plane cancelled to Queenstown and waiting overnight at the airport hotel for our flight tomorrow which will spend 4 hours in Christchurch now you tell me there has been a magnitude 5.5 earthquake there! Well I guess after 22 earthquakes in 3 days while I was on Tanna and nearly being hit by a lavabomb at the volcano, I can cope with most things lol. I'm with my sister and she flew into Canada on 9/11 and then next time in Canada the Rocky Mountaineer derailed for the first time in history with us on it. Our holidays always turn into adventures.
