First rain drops here. But storms are weakening running into the SE wind which is strong and gusty.
Jake you can also see my weather station.
http://www.monash.edu.au/halls/deahalls/weather/ " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's on top of Deakin Hall, south of Howitt Hall so it does suffer from wind turbulance coming off Howitt Hall at times. Ok today in a SE wind.

Going off quite nicely now!
Wundermap radar showing Viewbank, Doncaster, Box Hill North getting some rainfall but it's all going around my place so far.
Edit: Viewbank AWS went from 1.0 to 5.6mm in 10 mins.

Melb airport looks like it's about to get absolutely smashed. Radar indicates planes are circling now.

Roaring s/e wind, grey blanket with mamantulas aloft. Some low scattered turkeys visible in the distance and a bit of blue about, anything could happen.

all looks great but it seems to be dying by the time it gets this far south (see it evaporate on radar), so far just light rain here earlier and distant rumbling which has died for the moment...
so far all huff and puff and not much substance...wait and see what happens later..looks severe towards melbourne on radar

Huge number of emergency calls to damaged and flooded properties around Sunbury region so far, must be wild out there at the moment.
Yes it's all dying a death here, just a few spits and distant rumbles, but radar and satellite still look good so holding out hope for more tonight.
Just 1.5mm so far here.
