No lightning that I can see so that could mean a weakening phase however just had a bloody heavy burst of rain here out of nowhere. Moving SE over my place in Knoxfield. 2mm in 2mins and small hail.
Got some pretty heavy rain now, wind not that strong 15 to 20 knots. Not much lightning only a couple of flashes and a few rumbles. Appeared to weaken on radar as it came across. 3.5mm's in 7 minutes according to my weather station.
some decent rain in pt cook, bit of wind and thunder loud enough to get the kids very scared, but nothing extraordinary out here really. Awfully humid though. Still going as i type>

Not up with what everything's called, so just had to stop and take some shots of this so that a) you could all see it and b) tell me more about it.....
Taken at Smythes Creek at 6:06 today, facing roughly north. So the line is running NW-SE... What do you all think??

Not bad for a novice great shot, BOM calendar for sure Twister.
Got a few of them, so will be tidying them up a bit... how do I submit???
It is obsolutely pouring here with the odd flash of lightning. Already had one power outage this evening, certainly don't want another one. Just hope my other half doesn't decide to go into labor now (3 days over already).

Hate to inform you Skywalker but there is an old wives tale that thunderstorms bring on labour.
Constant thunder here now just had heavy rain & more on the way by the look of it!
Double Whopper award winning footy tipper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In fact the heavens have opened, getting some serious rain atm. Bright flashes and distant rumbles (still freaking my eldest out, shes back under the bed again )
Its getting heavier as I type, but of a guster too.
More CGs from the end of this band, what will be white on radar. Havent had a storm like this from over the bay for ages. The right hook at the heads was cast aside as what came from the west overpowered it, amazing evening.
It seems that the line is rapidly re-intensifying as it came off the bay and is passing over the eastern suburbs. Would this have to do with the temperatures still being warm and injecting fresh energy into the cells?
