Rain is absolutely torrential.
Started driving home in it from Ringwood around 30 mins ago and the rain drops were huge.
Lots of thunder around :D

Hi All! Well we haven't had any rain here yet, in fact the sun was out 15 mins ago. But we are about to get smacked....sky has gone as dark as i've seen it in the daytime and now rumblies starting up overhead. The cat just came bolting in... :bringiton:

I hear you James. Out of all the storms and rain we have had here, I don't think I've seen this much rain in a short period of time.
Front yard is starting to flood and coming up to the front door.

He he, funny day, still 27c here and in a ENE flow, had a sprinkle earlier, <1mm

Still a chance (MAYBE) for something to come in from the NW by the look of things

Looks like this one's going to slide just to the east of us here. It's freaky to think that just a couple of k's down the road in Bayswater they have been copping torrential rain...we haven't had a single drop here! Very localised, very humid and tropical, QLD type storms!

30.6mm so far and still going as it back builds right over me.that's over 200 mm. got the month. These heavy falls are extremely isolated.its pouring at my house near brady road but only light showers near halton road. Onetahuti knows where I'm talking about. And also the storms are extremely slow moving.

Absolutely pummelled here in FTG. Garden's flooded, storm drains flooded, gutters cant cope, oh and the roof in the sunroom has just collapsed. Weather station rain gauge reads zero as it cant cope and has died...oh well :(

Lots of low cloud and scud out east - quite impressive. You can see that there is some serious rain in amongst it all, and even detected a tinge of green earlier.

Back and front yard flooded. Drain in the backyard overflowing and about to flood the garage.
Hubby run out to check the nylex gauge and it's over a quarter full in the overflow.

I've got some ripping photos of it peeking it's nose over Mt Dandenong, deciding that it's ok to come over, then dropping it's guts bigtime.
I hope you're all ok underneath.
