As long as i get my 6mm as forecast by the BoM yesterday, I'll be happy and say they were accurate . They had 6 to 50mm here

Had to finish my plasma donation at Caufield early as the centre was evacuated due to flooding in the refreshments area.

The thunder was so loud it shocked everyone.

Caufield recorded 41mm in round 1 just then!

10mm so far. I'm actually impressed with the long lived embedded storms that keep developing. Truly tropical stuff. 30mm in 2 days. 63mm for the month. Not bad considering it was looking pretty bad earlier.

Over 50mm now… should ease soon but some more cells are rapidly developing around Daylesford/Ballarat so it’s not over yet.

WOW what a week of amazing weather, hot, humid, sunny lots of convection, days of storms 3 days of light shows, today has been unreal torrentail rain, heaps thunder lightning and still pouring hating the Sly booo lol but lots more rain and stroms to come this arvo evening mostly imbedded but better than nothing will just keep refiring.

Still got many hours of showers, rain and stroms to come will go into the night wet few hours to come awesome end to epic week.
Then thats it for an epic week best week in years for hot, humid, stormy, beach lovers like me, much cooler mid to late next week

NO rain here in SA since Nov, when we had 120mm in what is supposed to be the desert.
10mm the other week thats it. 100mm here, 150m there, just not here.
Still the last three years, we have been cooler than Vic in summer, amazing.
Summer fogs this morning, winter snow last winter, Im in heaven, my own micro climate.
Have only used the fan this summer, but two weeks of humidity with two to go, Darwin without the planes or beach it is here.
I do miss my Bay storms tho. Miss them a lot.
Upside is dry lighting storms that go on for hours and hours, never thought Id say it but it tires your eyes after a few hours.

Summers used to be like that in Melb until about 2000 get a good storm every few weeks., heres hoping the good times are back.

Castlemaine copped 60mm in one hour this afternoon. Flash flooding there.

Don't know if people saw my link to my audio recording of some impressive flangs recorded early yesterday morning, This evening I recorded a flangfest lasting 30mins!

39mm here this afternoon, 41mm for the dates - nice late catchup .

188mm mtd - not a Jan record, but up there. Great to see so many good totals well spread around.

Just ticked up to 50.0mm for the day. BOM forecast range was 10-50mm so another 0.2mm which it will do will make that inaccurate.

Exactly 48mm this afternoon, so that makes us 102.5mm since Wednesday.
