Big warm welcome to all of our new members - join in and have fun. And don't be afraid to ask questions :) Guests, it won't take long to join, pick your username and away you go, we'd love to hear reports from all areas :)

Jase - we have a victory! I've actually, miraculously in fact, managed to get windows! I'm so happy!!! We've also had a roof tiler out, we have over 400 smashed, it's going to be a big bill. Insurer has stuffed me around but after over six hours waiting on the phone, I've managed to get some results and have rung around and organised things myself.

Good luck everyone *but please Huey, don't make it too bad over my house this time* I have no obs to report because I've got no weather station anymore, I've been finding bits of it in the backyard all day :hissy:

Oh, PS, no more huntsman talk! We don't like those nasty critters 'round these parts

Yeah we've had the same thing over here! We usually aren't under a flight path, but for the last hour had a few jets go over

According to the STW, my area will "core punch" this thing - not looking good - getting very dark out there and plenty of thunder around!

Yes welcome to all the new members :)

Lily on Channel 7 news they just had a road in Lysterfield that copped a caning yesterday. Just about every house, so much damage. It was probably where you live. Just terrible and I really feel for you, I am so glad they are doing something about it so soon

Slight green tinge, but no hail yet. Maybe there will be when the red core gets here.

Lily Great to hear you are having some luck atleast. I decided due to being some what busy today with the clean up that i will wait until after tonights storm to bother with the insurance. I am running very low on sleep and even lower on patience, so figured i wouldnt inflict that on a poor insurance sales person just yet. My tiles thankfuly are not too bad. only about 30 in total damaged, most of them have only lost a little bit of the edge, others a cracked clean in two while 5 have holes punched right in the midle but are otherwise in tact.

Went down to stud park shopping centre today, The amount of glass in the carpark was disturbing, not to mention the number of poor buggers driving around with cracked windows.
Getting dark here, but looking like we'll miss the worst of it for now.

I am guessing the area around Craigiburn is in the middle of all that red and brown. Nothing too heavy here yet, just moderate, with some lightning and thunder but nothing like yesterday yet!
