Based on what I see at the minute, I think the S/SE 'burbs are where it's going to happen if it's going to happen this arvo/tonight.

In McKinnon it's very grey at the moment, but not enough above yet to indicate storms soon.....heard a few rumbles but no lightning as yet.

Flash flooding where I am NW of Avalon, few people came flying through a cross road and didn't realize how water was there.

Before you do that can you remove the map please? It's taken me ten minutes to get to the point where I can post on this thread using mobile net. That map doesn't cache, so it's loaded every single time the page is.. So, land here, load, click login, load, actually login, load, get to forum page, load, get to breaking page, load, nav to current thread, load, post reply, load... It's horrible..
Schitzengiggles, you need to get a better phone / service provider. I have just done exactly the same using my crackberry, was no issue for me.

Please keep to the subject at hand. If anyone has technical issues, or and suggestions to the layout of our forum, there are better avenues than filling up the breaking weather threads - I suggest a PM to any of the Admin members

Mixed feelings about the storm clouds gathering over the Yarra Valley... hoping they reach my area, but hoping they don't end up ruining my tennis lesson at 6PM. Have to wait and see what I happens I suppose...

It all looks a bit messy out there, so not getting my hopes up for one of those classical afternoon thunderstorms. Think we are a good chance of having some imbeded thunder in amongst the crud though.

Rog.

I tried Chris. Couldn't get there. It's a terrible piece of web design.

Radar is underestimating the stuff coming into the northern suburbs atm. About to get really wet!

Hang on to your panties S/SE burbs & Peninsula. The best of it is yours today!

first sprinkle of rain here, these little beasties are small at the moment but it looks like it has the potential to do what happened in Adelaide yesterday, They are EXTREMELY slow moving and will cause considerable flash flooding should one decided to sit over you and stay for a cuppa tea or 10.

Good luck people, looking forward to a huge arvo. I'll be checking in with my sister in Mornington from your advice.

It looks like we may be about to get sandwiched here by the small cell moving through Flowerdale at the moment, and the area of potential moving through Macedon. Just need the one in Flowerdale to move east just a little bit more. :D

Hoping something will develop again in the system moving through Macedon at the moment, as that will hit us directly here.

Cheers, Cam

Lots of rumbles & light rain here. My cat isn't scared just confused keeps looking out the window trying to figure out where the noise is coming from. Very funny to watch!
