3.2 to 5.5C here today. Wife reports it was sleeting around 7am.

Shame it wasn't a degree colder as again we've just missed out on a proper snow day up here :x

Event on almost 30mm. Might get a bit more tomorrow with one more front to sneak under the incoming high.

Here's the event rainfall. Case of winners a losers there :(

Totals in the higher spots will be compromised by snow blowing out of gauges etc, so definitely be spots above 100mm.

The crew around the bay lucked out on this one. . . Know how that feels after the 4mm June up here. Good thread for up here, ended up with 38mm. Some areas nearby got 60mm. Alps got a 3 foot storm and thundersnow yesterday :)

Apologies for the late reply HB; computer-less for the last 24hrs. Heavy snow here for about half an hour late yesterday morning - a true blizzard and our first real snow of winter. Temp. dipped to 1C.

Heavy rain and sleet beforehand so only a dusting on outdoor furniture etc; nothing on the ground.
26mm for the dates; quite a bit more nearby as we're somewhat in the lee of the Divide for NW rain.

Event total just over 20mm here. Rained quite heavily today with another 8mm. The temp spiked to 10c late morning, then sat around 5c to 6c for the rest of the day. Clear skies this evening.

Foggy up here overnight with another mm of spits. Slowly dragging ourselves to 30mm for the event. I was thinking 25 to 50mm at the start so in the range, but on the lower end.

Next week sees the LWT become strong in the Indian Ocean so we will go back to mainly nwly flow and decaying fronts. Systems going to drag down some very warm air but looks like we will be just south of it, with potential for approaches at records in central parts of OZ.

There's has been an avalanche at Mt Hotham, no reports of any one hurt yet as it was back country. See pics here http://forums.ski.com.au/xf/threads/3rd ... 71/page-29

Warm front moving through central areas ATM. Had about 1.5mm of rain. Some decent falls about the Otways and South Gippsland.

Ushering much warmer air with the freezing level behind this jumping to about 2000m.

Time for the new thread with the next fronts showing up for Thursday and Saturday.

Could then see a record warm spell next week with northwest Vic predicted to reach the high 20s :o

1.4mm in the gauge this morning so finished on ~30mm. Disappointing really - puts us at risk of another below average month (following the really poor May-June-July).

Time for the next thread which is rather messy with a series of fronts slipping over us.
