Models nailed it last night with 28mm here. Was heavy at times. Gets us off to a good start for October. Our YTD is running about 100mm above average so a good chance now for an above average year :D

Looks like the west missed out a bit, with the heaviest falls along the ranges as expected peaking mostly in the 25 to 50mm range. Fair bit of mostly minor flooding out there.

Today looks unstable with showers and possible storms. Then one more proper front tomorrow. Progs then turn a lot warmer for a few days.

32mm here! Bloody nora!

I went for a look at the spillway at Upper Coliban Res the other day, it was very impressive. After 50+mm near Trentham last night it will be really pumping this morning.
Home- "Shepherd's Bush" at Mt Macedon. 870m
Work- "Bolobek" at Macedon. 430m

Some hail pieces were about half a centimeter wide with the back of that heavy rain. Looks like bom was right about possible heavy rain.

Only 7mm out of it but still made things interesting.

That's 23mm since about 11pm last night

Lake Eppalock is now overflowing, and with big inflows upstream that could make for some issues downstream now.

Quite a few road closures around Newstead and Maryborough.

Still looks like up to 10mm for us today and tomorrow, then into what looks like a rollercoaster ride temperature wise for the week ahead...

30 mm here, Musk near Daylesford had a 52mm. Both rivers running north from the Macedon Ranges now have flood warnings.
78mm for the thread so far here, might crack the tonne....

875 mm for the year so far....1 metre a real chance

Long time between spills for Lake Eppalock..... Campaspe running a fast banker here in Kyneton. Loads more water heading that way.

38 mm here, water running everywhere and we're at the top of the catchment! The nearby Werribee River is already in moderate flood & I expect some streams in the Barwon catchment will flood shortly.

Finally got something worth talking about.
15.7mm's overnight MTD now 17.2mm's so off to a reasonable start.
Hopefully a few more mm's over the next two or three days.

I hate to say it, but this doesn't look good: http://www.bom.gov.au/fwo/IDV67207/IDV6 ... .plt.shtml

That's like 35000 ML/day and rising...

And the warning for the Loddon River:

And it's still gushing off the Macedon Ranges here....every winter creek is still in full flow towards the Loddon and Campaspe that I have seen this morning ....and the showers aren't helping....I'm not sure it will improve in the next 24 hours if today and the next trough has 20 mm in it.

30mm here overnight, some places along the creek have been sandbagged as a precaution but the creek is dropping now so won't be an issue. Thats one impressive list of vic flood warnings. :o

9.5mm recorded overnight in Burnside Heights. Didn't even make it to double figures.

Had nothing here at work so far today, just more typical boring western suburban weather.
