That's a funny looking front for tomorrow
A little bit unusual positioning
I'm by no means an expert at it looks like some sort of warm front
Could be some good totals
Interesting day... 2.9C for a minimum and cloud coming in. EC and GFS have upped the rainfall totals - showing 10 to 20mm for us now. Would be welcome ahead of the next BIG high.
Uppers are quite mild now but low levels are cold. Was thinking an outside chance for snow in the Dandenongs today, but now think very unlikely and the timing is a bit delayed and the 850T are too warm (really need them to be subzero to get snow). Elevated areas further west might get something.

That's a first!
Yeah i saw that. I think it would be interesting if they had wind chill warnings in winter to say what it will actually feel like.
Looking out the window at the moment and you wouldn't think it would be only 10.the sun is out and about with mainly sunny skies. Looks like a nice day.
Starting to believe we might go a tad over 10. Even on the coldest of outbreaks the city still manages 11 or 12 so unsure why 10 was forecast today. Unless cloud builds and the rain develops coz at the moment it looks like a typical 15 degree day lol.
Wow. Revised forecast maximum of 10 for the city today.
I had a feeling this might happen as it is perfect timing. Cold and foggy night followed by cloud moving in just in time and rain coming.
Will depend ofcourse on how much sun we get, especially due to the fact that skies are mostly cloud free at the moment.
Second problem is there is no rain showing on the radar and the clouds are broken in places, so it could well be a case of "should have stuck with 12"
Thinking the same Stevco, not much cloud at the moment and rain is way to the west. Thinking maybe 13 for the City today and only a little rain later expecting 0 to 2mm's here.
It was frosty and a strong north wind up on the mountain, here at work it's calm sunny No frost. Doesn't look like it's going to be an overly cold day down here in Macedon.
What's going on with the Bureau dropping the Melbourne max to 10?
Something serious must be coming? Weird.
Home- "Shepherd's Bush" at Mt Macedon. 870m
Work- "Bolobek" at Macedon. 430m
This feels like a surprising system. Keep your eye on it. Looks like it is packing a nice opening punch down around Mount Gambier with lightning and heavy rain.
Don't be fooled by current clear skies. This system will develop very quickly once it arrives here and we have got a bit of afternoon diurnal 'heating' going (if you can call it that ). It's very much an upper level system this one.
