onetahuti can you confirm this at all? I won't be home for another hour.
Sorry I was at the nursing home, occupied with running program so not looking at the weather outside, just home now.

Sorry folks, nothing worth showing from here today other than a sprinkling of hail around the edges of the garden, it all still looks green, I feel cheated!
Seems to be the western burbs turn now for a change, good for them! We're in a bit of a radar hole here now, but seems to be more heading up from the south.
I'm still hopeful for a nice white start to the day tomorrow, though it could make getting off the hill to go to the airport to pick up our visitors a bit interesting! :)
Oh, and we've had 22mm of everything since it started late yesterday.

Agreed about the radar hole. so angry right now about it. Mount dandenong has had a massive run of bad luck this winter

Mt Dandenong did do well earlier this afternoon but not enough sustained snow for it to settle. There was a lot of snow fall though. Hasn't been a heap of precip w the old outbreak but that's fairly common this time of year with the cold bay. A cold air surge like this in spring would produce a lot more rainfall

I changed my mind, here's one I took this afternoon with some big flakes falling, I missed the heaviest snow but you can see the blurry flakes...

The very coldest air I feel is coming through the South West now, but it looks like the moisture is rapidly dwindling along with it. Looks touch and go for the Dandenongs tonight now unfortunately :|

Epic hailstorm just passed through here at Nunawading. 5 minutes was all it took for an inch of small, soft, slushy hail everywhere. Bring it on if there's more to come! :D

Flangs and heavy hail here too with this burst.

Awesome day like the old days of the 80's/90s. Most beautiful looking front and cold pool. Have archived the sat pic into the best fronts folder ;)
