About to get very wet
Wind going to SW and showers streaming up the bay
Let's see if it can snow for the first time ever in Highett

PS Will that cloud west of Tassie make its way up ?

Got down to 3.7 down at Wilsons Prom, so getting very cold at low elevations now (92m).

Nice area of coldies moving up the bay now, should see some hail in this.

Just called my grandpa who came from Europe last week to visit. He can 100% confirm it was/ is sleeting at home. Who better to trust if not a European when it comes to snow

onetahuti can you confirm this at all? I won't be home for another hour.

Eeek ! I can't believe this day! The snow has just rolled in again and it's gone really dark out there.
What a fantastic event so far.
Hope the temp drops Geoff. Cloudehille would look awesome under snow.

and forget going up Mount Donna Buang for a few hours at least... from the Warburton Info Facebook page

"ROAD STILL NO GOOD: At midday today we have discovered that no one at VIC Roads was aware the road on Mt Donna Buang needed grading. The weather reports all week that talked of snow down to low levels might have been a heads up?"

It just can't make its mind up, one minute it's snowing heavily, next it's pouring with rain again. Temperature going up and down like a yo-yo!

How cold Geoff ? It's been really steady here but we are in our usual mountain cloud cap. No warming through that big blob of cloud

Just been down to Monbulk to do a bit of shopping, and there was a tiny bit of snow on the edge of Olinda Oval but that was all I saw. Temperature here is now 3.5c which is as high as it's got today, but looks like the wind is about to go more southwest to southerly this evening which could be better for us.
