15.5mm recorded on the PWS this morning, until the ISP cut our Internet connection :( Was about 18.5 last I checked this afternoon.

Been a while since I've seen a SWW too :)

Around 20mm here now so a nice drop and really good falls in a lot of farming areas so that's terrific :). As for tommorow, well the BOM did forecast heavy falls in nth areas today and I'm sure that wasn't the case, but they have to get it right sometime I guess  and SA radar looks great and a SWW there also, looking positive. Getting a little excited to be honest :bringiton:

Peered into the Nylex in the gloom and the rain and could see that it has overflowed slightly, so must be over 26mm now since it started. Perfect nice gentle rain and drizzle which will really soak into the ground and do a lot of good. :)

I hate to be a dampen on things David but EC has been terrible this Year so far, last weeks event was a bust for EC having rain for us where most other models didn't and only ended up being an east Gippsland event just one of the many busts of late. Thought I would never hear myself say this but I think GFS is right with this one, part A of the system will be the wettest part for Melbourne than part B with the bulk of the rain tomorrow and Friday being in northern and eastern Victoria. Hope I'm wrong.

Last peak at the gauge showed 20mm. Heavy drizzle, head cold and laziness prevents me from looking until morning but mabe only a couple more mm. Thinking unless things change trajectory, the heavy stuff will only skirt the border.

Nice gentle rain up here. The radar is not showing it. It must be too low to pick up. Very soaking and very welcome. Will measure shortly

38mm here all up so far and will be a lot of smiling faces around the district and brilliant falls around the state. Not expecting much here today, might squeeze out another 5mm but would be nice to get to 50mm :D. Bendigo up to 60mm since the system started with more to come. :)

I know the radar has been underestimating totals, but could today potentially be a dry day. Looking at the radar and cloud map on Weatherzone, this seems likely for Melbourne.

UP to 49mm here and still going. What a wonderful system this has been for us. Still going too, looks like we'll only have a few more hours of it left though before the rain finally abates. Has not stopped for about 42 hours here. I can't remember seeing continuous rain for this long ever before.

Seems to be all done here. I cant see how the heavy flooding rains are going to develop today. Nothing on the radar

Rain gauge says 50mm for us and it keeps coming, too bad it is a couple of weeks too early as my new tank isnt ready yet.

that's a crazy discrepancy between what Gisborne had and Trentham we only managed 22mm for the entire event. What happened to the rain today it was 20-45mm when I went to bed woke up and now next to nothing is forecast!!!

Not sure about the heavy rain but the drizzle is back for the third day. Dogs need a walk and ready to tear the place apart!

Thick drizzle here if it continues like this it will mount up & coming in from the north east which is very rare.

36mm all up. Even if we don't get much today and tomorrow which was always my general fear as early as Tuesday the first part of the system we got more so averaged all out its about what most of us expected perhaps even more so great drop.

Mine too - unexercised Jack Russells going stir crazy. Been steady here for a couple of days now. Yesterday the front end loader that was unloading to do some work in my paddock skidded sideways off the wet truck tray and landed on its side in the mud! Driver was bloody lucky!!! (few bruises and a sore neck) Huge crane needed to right the thing. Its OK apparently and coming back tomorrow.
Dry, dusty and hot - usually!

Well, after yesterday warning friends and family that we were in for flooding rains today (quoting the BOM forecast), they will now think I'm a complete berk who knows nothing (probably right).
Yesterday's 4.20pm forecast could well be the most inaccurate in recent years, 1.6mm as of 2.45pm, and nothing much more to come today going by the radar.
