Considering the last several systems were a complete bust, I'm overjoyed with that so far, and if the models are right this time, could continue on well into the week which could even (gasp) fill the tank if we're real lucky! The only challenge might be finding a less-wet day to ride to work, but I'd be happy to put up with a wet day on the bike for some decent rain.
Similar circumstances, will walk rather than ride (only 2kms) if raining on Thursday and Friday, the tank I had to drain last month so any rain is welcome. Great for once for the forecast to under estimate totals. Currently 4.8mm.
Good steady rain here now, or perhaps just a very wide shower lol bom , and forecast now has heavy falls here tomorrow and thursday so fingers crossed. Should get 25mm+ here, so me happy . Nice falls around the metro area.

Hahaha classic radar hole!!, I think bom is being a little conservative with totals I would have thought 10-25 instead of 6-20 but it remains to be seen. Horsham is going to cop a lot more than that in the coming days

Peter
Would never much doubt it as Ita is not forecast to come ashore till Friday afternoon and with http://www.usno.navy.mil/NOOC/nmfc-ph/R ... sh2314.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; go back out to sea on Sunday.
11mm here, OCF thinks around another 30mm over the next 2 days but will be very happy to get 25mm all up. Light drizzle here now and BOM still going for heavy falls in parts of the nth districts so could be interesting later.
Falls have been lighter here in the outer SE suburbs, just checked the gauge and 7.8mm's.
Good to see Dry western areas getting a good drink. Still a steady drizzle here ATM.
The rain continues to fall out here. Have no idea total wise as someone forgot to empty the gauge before this all started.
Can't remember the last time I was forced into the car for 3 days in a row getting to work. Certainly not complaining as we have badly needed this out here in the western desert.
Caroline Springs, Melbourne's meteorological boredom zone.
A continuation of the unusual rainfall this year here, where stuff coming down from the northwest is giving us good(ish) rainfall, when usually we would get little or nothing. 18mm of light rain/heavy drizzle since it started yesterday afternoon. If we can score well when the colder air arrives this could end up being a big event for us.
