Might be in the sweet spot here in Blairgowrie, a CC and a rumble the only activity along with the light rain.

Meso is going to love it at rosebud. He would have been hammered. I got some awesome photos of the shelf cloud when it came over the bay

Likewise, Robyn! Found a nice spot down on Rye beach and got some snaps as the shelf moved over the ocean. Will post shortly, just waitin for the rain to stop so I can try for some lightning shots from that second line coming through.

Blimey Meso! What's that 3 storms in a row now? You're the AWF Storm Magnet!
Hoping the cells passing Macedon make it to me or we're going to have another dry change here, things are getting pretty dry here now.

Radar making it look better than what it is. However, no storm isn't unwelcomed. Nice little surprise.

Woohoooo! That's more like it! Sound of rain is deafening, and constant low rumbling thunder now. Magic!

haha yeah, turned out fairly good in the end, saw 3 nice CG's while I was on the phone to my sister in England. Was at the bay earlier watching the first line come in, had a bit of rolling scud which looked better down south, that broke up as it got dark and went home.

Moving all the photos to a hd. Hopefully I don't miss anything else. All ready like 3 to 4 huge Strikes here in Templestowe!

Must have hit the same time as here Geoff! Wild few minutes, dog's gone loopy, winds are insane - peaked at 79kph just now, 2.2mm of rain, and loads of cc's. nothing photogenic sadly...
Great way to end the season - I reckon that's our last 30c day for a good while

We got glanced by a couple of cells here in Burwood, but it has all blown through pretty quick. No lightning within 3-4km and 2.5mm in the gauge, that's all....
Rog.
