Yes Im for # 3 also, more than 2 as 2 doesn't have much in the foreground.
Im big on Moons too.
I see a nice crescent moon this morning with a big star,
must have a look which star that is, would be nice tomorrow morning presuming a smaller crescent,
but if I'm up before 4am 2 mornings in a row adds to one grumpy household.
keep up the good work.
Got Photoshop? Have a play around with "curves", "saturation" and "contrast". All under Image > Adjustments.
I've found the curves function to be great for bringing out that dark menacing feel in storm clouds. Then top it off with a little saturation to bring the other colors in the pic out and then a little tweaking of the contrast for a bit more definition between the dark and brighter colors in the image. Then finish off with a little sharpening. Keep in mind tho that there's only so much you can do with post processing, so try and get your photos as well exposed as possible when out shooting. You probably already knew that tho, but just thought I'd throw it out there.
Good luck! 2nd last photo is nice too...and the one of the moon...I had a go at it the other week, but couldn't get it to focus properly, so well done!
