Looks like the "Bowling Alley" is about to close up on the radar. Big red dot over Gisborne,
@The_FishmanAU is all I need to say.

NW Exploded in the last few frames. Expect that to filter down over the next few hours. Another 20mm in this I'd expect.
I live in a world where I dont see to believe, but I believe to see...

We're already under water here, scattered reports around the town of flooding in homes, roads closed, Whiteheads Creek in flood etc.

Will be touch and go whether the Goulburn River will go into flood.

How much more should I expect in my area guys?

It's looking more and more like the majority of rain will go through southern and central nsw.The latest BOM forecasts back this up.

100mm at Alexandra. Some gauges around here, close by, got 120mm.
In the Highlands east from Seymour and north of Yea 158mm for the event so far.
Really settled the dust and helped the fire danger muchly.
Some flooding but nothing of any significant consequence as the rain was spread out over about 11 hours. Dry at present but humid.
Currently dew point 21.7, temp. 22.9 and RH 93% !!!.

It's on again and some cells just developed "out of nowhere" :) around the inner/mid-east, even before that Sunbury cell (maybe) reaches here.

Hello all :D Audible thunder here in the last few minutes, looks v. threatening to the N/NW, a few sparse drops of rain earlier but has stopped for now, looking at radar could be our last few dry minutes for a while (there goes cricket training!). GFS is looking scary, frankly! We all like and want rain, but I don't think any of us particularly enjoy living through a flooded home, right Rhino lol?

Good to see lots of the old, familiar posters posting again, nothing like some decent weather to bring out the weather community in force! Aussie, congrats on the engagement, well done to you both :) So when's the big day?

HarleyB, I think your predictions from last night that it would "miss you" have come back to bite you lol. Righto, thunder's getting louder and rumblier now (is that even a word :P ). Good huntsman weather, Karl :spider:

Hi Lily!! Definitely has, for once I am happy in looking ridiculous.

Pouring here, was only raining for 60 seconds before the gutter overflowed, again! :D
Had two flashes in the past few minutes, so watch out for embedded lightning!

First rumbles of that Birchip storm now.... Bring it on!!! Loving the rain. We were very close to having to order water, now we should be right for a while.
Keeping a nice close eye on the Loddon. Happy to report that I'm no longer in the area I was in last year.... we don't have to evacuate this time (otherwise I'd probably already be packed and ready to leave).
Great drop last night, would love a bit more.

Its bloody Pour down now, been torrential for about 10-15minutes, radar looked to be easing off but it picked up steam as it hit here, no end in sight either

Been the occassional flash of lightning as well, I like this weather :D

Nothing to report here yet. If the radar continues on its current course we won't get much. Although there was a short shower and must say it was quite heavy which makes me believe reports of large totals.
