Will definitely rain and be a re run of last week, will develop and be mostly night time and tomorrow morning. Trough still lingering over Adelaide through Portland and hasnt moved at all. Still warm with 18degree Dps through the west of the state, even Adelaide in a NW still showing 18s as well which is very humid behind the trough.
So expect a wet night, the heaviest areas, wherever they develop, will easily get 30-50mm.
Up in the air as to what it will do but bom saying possible thunderstorms so I'm guessing they may be thinking areas of convection may pop up ahead of main band near Ararat? If it takes a more westerly easterly direction that will help our chances a lot. Feel a bit unsure but based on what we've seen lately I expect a storm at some stage btw midnight and 6am, so pretty much agree with Anthony could easily be similar to last week
That area of rain around Halls Gap is very heavy, Mt William on 64mm since 9 am as its very slow moving, and thats going to be the biggest feature of the next 12 hours...
the sky here is very overcast and gloomy you would think it is a winters day. Looking at the radar that nasty cell near Ararat looks to be tracking straight for us! It'll die........shields are up.
By the way the temps seem a little high for me on Tuesday and Wednesday and mabye even Thursday.. Can't see it getting to 23c Tuesday and definetly can't see 27c on Wednesday in Melbourne

It has more a winter's colour than Summer glow. It is more a sponge than a shield. It get to s certain point and is absorbed!
