Just spoke to the parents in Frankston East, a foot of water in the backyard banked up against the house and it's just started hailing hard...
Meanwhile all quiet in the Eastern burbs so far.

Hold onto your seat DC.
That cell coming over the bay has a massive black core.

Oh my god! Would not want to be under that cell over the bay! Incredible structure (by my standards anyway) and soo tall! May be rotating but not sure.
I'm about to get hit. Not really looking forward to it now after seeing this view lol
Cheers, Cam

Finally finished my probation training for the SES and sit my test on Monday night. Kinda glad I'm not on call yet.
Pretty sure I will have my turn though.
The cell about to pass Melton has also gone black.

Check this NOW!
What is that moving from Lilydale in a SW direction - looks like possible tornado.
EDIT 7:20pm Has moved out of Doppler now.
Apologies no picture - Trying to copy images i caught but best I can do is paste single frames to word doc at the moment.
Suspect it may have been a rolling front causing the images.

Welcome to the SES and hope the test goes well! If it's anything like last summer your turn will come soon enough
That cell over the bayside suburbs is a whopper... gulp.
