ABC reporting marble size hail in Linton.( on google thats n/west of melbourne in the S/west district l think)
The damage in Bellbridge is being described as a mini cyclone on ABC news now. So Apocalypse your observation of hook echo must of been correct.
Amazing that where sparra is in Nhill the sky is black. We are only 150km away and we have heaps of clear sky at the moment with just a tinge in the s/west of something developing but headed down south. Nothing on the horizon here yet. In fact looks more stable than a few hours ago. However things will change
still some strong northerlies at times here.
Man its hot, humid and getting windy here. Earlier in the morning had a ripping couple of thunder and lightning strikes just above work i seen the flash then a millisecond later BOOM BANG, the guys working outside sure got spooked. The Sun has been out all afternoon, it feels like im up in Cairns, my Windows Phone is predicting Thunderstorms which i have never seen it do before, and it sure looks dark out towards Deni. I just cant tell whats going to happen, weird crazy weather indeed.
