Good read this morning all! Sure will be a good couple of days for us.
Has stopped raining here and starting to clear. Just a patch of blue sky visible to my west now.
Had a few flashes and bangs around last night but only around 2mm in the gauge but getting real interested in this arvo and if GFS latest 12z run is anything to go by we will be having a very explosive 48 hrs. Think the whole west half of the state could be nasty and develop into heavy rain areas for later tonight for the east aswell as storms. Won't be absolutely clear skies but should be enough sun for sufficient heating IMO. I'd think 40-50mm for most now but will be highly dependant on storms of course with 70-80mm not out of the question. Very convective rainfall so double what EC is forcasting at least.
And of course you guys get the best and most active spring in a long time while I'm in grey drizzly London! So happy for you guys getting something decent though!

Yeah, everyone here is saying the same thing - I still can't get over how early it gets dark here - and we're only just at the start! Very jealous of the warm weather you guys are having.
Yeah WNW is going to go off today. Im awaiting a truck delivery. Should be here hopefully within the hour, then i'll be finished the truck at 1pm.
Then i might be able to squeeze in a sickie this afternoon hopefully.
I live in a world where I dont see to believe, but I believe to see...
I am quite excited about today and tomorrow, we had some rumbles here at 5am this morning. I haven't gone on a real storm chase since March so I am very eager for one!
Got three storms this morning in Rowville. First one woke me up at 3.30am and couldn't sleep after. Second one was the pick at 6am - lots of lightning and heavy rain.
