Very nice thunderstorms across the state currently. I would be watching areas to the south of nhill and east of nhill and over the grampians for the rest of the afternoon as the frontal system approaches. Also over SE SA. Models never picked those areas to fully destabilize until after 3pm. Worth keeping an eye on. Otherwise you guys in and around Melbourne have fun. Still dry generally down here, had some light rain, no storms, that's about it.

Yep sunbury looks a good call. Don't like the look of radar for Woodend (mum lives there and hates storms) however for the rest of us it looks very good.
Lots of lightning appearing near Malmsbury and looks to be advancing to Woodend, Gisbourne and Sunbury. Might even bust through the shield and light up Melbourne.
Harley, was there much thunder in what you have just had at Seymour? I have a very desperate 4 year old here watching the radar whilst fluffing back and forward from the window, constantly asking me when the thunder and lightning is coming lol
Looks like what you are getting will slide slightly south of us here in Yea

A fair bit Tilda. Rumbles and heavy rain Though it might have weakened just to heavy rain. It looks a bit that way.

Couple of Lightning Strikes and Thunder in Sale between 2:30 and 3:00 pm with a dash of heavy rain. Calm here now, rain stopped. Looks ominous from Mildura in a line to Leongatha. Good luck with the Power everyone.
Just went up on the carpark roof at work. We have constant CG's to my SW and frequent CG's to my WNW. The roll of thunder is constant now and getting very, very dark.
