April Fool's antics

Post by daviescr »

Well, today is a good day to have a bit of a laugh. I've already come across a couple of things that made me chuckle:

The Ikea "Hundstol" - a new high chair for dogs :D the video is hilarious, don't know how the guy kept a straight face

And just saw on Sunrise they were talking about the new "iPad 3D" Yeah right - read about it here

:hysteria: LMAO at the Hundstol, that's hilarious! Loved the special adaptation of the chair to accommodate the dog's tail, too funny.

This one is supposedly Air NZ charging passengers by weight. Classic line - "Check In will now be known as Weigh In" :P http://promos.airnz.co.nz/payweigh/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or if strange creatures are more your scene, try "Nessie Like Creature Spotted in Sydney Harbour" http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/newshome/9 ... ur-waters/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Love the Air new Zealand prank - I sent it on to our travel group who book all our flights - they wrote back saying 'this will affect our travel budget this year'!! So gullible!

For the Hundstol, I sent it to my bro and he rang me all excited saying he was heading out to Ikea to buy one LMAO :D :D

We had a bit of April's Fools Day fun at work today. The Assistant Director decided she would "resign" today ;) . Everyone knew what was going on except the Director. Staff kept going into the Director's office saying "Bel's upset, what's happening, is it true she's leaving. After lunch one of the girls gets taken out of my room to cover in Bel's room because she had to speak with the Director who had just read her letter of resignation. Apparently Bel kept a straight face during her chat & the Director was totally convinced Bel wanted to leave. A few minutes later we hear a roar of laughter from the office as the Director found out she had been the victim of an April Fool's Day prank!!!!
