I am only predicting another 10-20mm here, complacency on my part, or realistic, considering that huge blob looks like heading straight over you guys. Whoever it hits, will get 150mm though

Well wont even describe the chaos before. Over 2 inches of rain within 20mins! :o INSANE!!!

W'bee plaza had internal water features happening, massive overload on the pagers. Power out at Werribee, truganina, Wyndham Vale and Manor Lakes.

Roads insanely flooded and floodways full, almost had a temptation to bring the canoe out to the street LOL

Be safe on the roads guys and gals!

Thankfully very quiet here, had some heavy showers that didnt last very long as the storms keep clipping us as they dive south of here

Havent heard any rumbles and saw a distant CG or 2 earlier

Lets hope the weather keeps missing

Just on a side note: how do you work out rain rate per hour or whatever it is? I think it's simple but would just like clarification please :)

60mm and still falling, Narre Warren is a mess with lots of roads flooded, some of the worst local flooding I have ever seen.
Can hear thunder again I rekon will end up with 100mm+ here and Just south of here around Hampton Park Lynbrook, Lynhurst area 150mm+

Lots of flashes off to the S/W but has gone very still now. I pity the pilots I'm watching trying to land between these cells - more flashes off to the west now....

Lucky the cells are moving as fast as this thread. Image if they were moving at half their current pace.

Finally a break in the every-10-seconds lightning flashes and I was game enough to check the gauge - 70 mm in the last hour and still teeming down.

Oh wow, I had to ring Jake to check this... My AWS has recorded between 7.30pm and 8pm Rain Rate of 240.0 and 51.6mm, then between 8pm and 8.30pm Rain Rate of 145.8 and another 13.8mm.

Might explain why I've got flooding?????

I really need to go and catch up on some posts, hope everyone is ok?

The storm heading towards Geelong looks rather nasty, along with the one that is hitting Lara that was mentioned. Large hail and wind damage are big dangers in that area along with the flash flooding.

We've been on that yellow/red train-line for a good 35 minutes now mate. She's a monster. Never encountered anything like it whilst in Ballan!
