Hail to 1.5cm here generally with the biggest up to 2cm. Winds to 45 knots from the south and 8mm in this lot and still coming down. A few flangs but a direct hit here from the storm.
Not much behind but plenty of showers still to come.

Well i woke up at about 1 oclock to an almighty roar, not sure what the winds were but they were travelling, for some reason no wind has registered on my weather station, hopefully its still exists! Up to 19mm so far, had 11mm in 1 hour which was from the storm. Plenty more to come.

What an awesome morning, towers everywhere and showers galore! Saw that strike SC, well was actually a flash whilst on Eastlink. Should be a good day of action.

Oh what a night, crazy here as well...a fair bit of thunder and hail (I think by the sound of it). Very wild night it was great! Hopefully more of the same today.

I think similar here Karl, although no weather station set up yet...
Some really heavy stuff for about an hour last night would have been about 15 mm in that alone.

That must have been the same one that woke me up. It was one of those rolls of thunder with the deep base thumping sound that makes everything in your house vibrate, and you can physically feel through the floor.
Can't wait to check the gauge, but reckon there is a pretty good chance that it will have something in it for the first time since NYD for me!!

25mm for the system, down to 7.4 deg @ 3.25 am. 10.6 c now.
At 6.30 there was still unmelted hail in a hole in a garden bed.
What a change from last week. My son when he put his feet on the floor boards put his hand out to confirm the floor was cold.
