Year rain fall records will be smashed right across the Mallee after this system this is out wettest year in HISTORY in about 120 years which is mind blowing and goes to show JUST how wet it has been

We sitting on 550mm for the Year 600 looking very good Normal year 280mm shows how much we have had most last 3 months with close to 300mm falling last 3 months

Getting Very Black to west with something interesting mid level cloud but nothing great or any lightening yet.

Storms will just form into rain bands hoping this storm holds though a good 20mm dump and crazy lightning and thunder would be great

Dead calm at the moment, but can see the next front abouyt 10KM north west from me, got that great greeny tinge.. gota work out how to put up a pic from mobile
...... and Lara is near Geelong? - what a commute! :o

Baro dropped to 1007 hPa and is steady there over past 2 hours, still dead calm out and temp has eased back to 26C. Rain tonight looks very unlikely.

Bendigo is 1032mm most ever in history here. So by the end of December it will be amazing! It will be very very hard to top this year with rainfall.

Round 2 here, with an absoloute vengence, flash flooding... it was a big calm before the storm, constant one second CCs and then came the squalls and now the ridiculous rain.. i said 50mm+, thats certain now

Going to be an interesting night. I imagine the trigger may be too far west but we must be a slim chance for a storm overnight.

Good convection going up again and by the look of them they are winterish so no probs with cooler air aloft.

Just need the line west to keep intact and perhaps trigger them off.

Still developing north of Seymour from the mid level deck so anythings possible.

Just spoke to a mate of mine who is a qantas domestic pilot (flying ML-SY-ML) tomorrow. From the data he is getting, he agreed with my analogy of a Melbourne Show ride!

Just heard from a mate in Cobden- witnessing one of the most amazing lightshows he's seen.

Wish I was there to see it!

Another Image just coming through from Whyalla-this is the most impressive wall cloud I've ever seen!

Wish it was only 740 not 840

Starting to look very interesting to the west but getting dark now almost to hard to note any structure

Most in SA got 20-30mm in about 30 mins so expect about the same here with lots of lightening thunder and flooding hoping it holds looks good

Convection up north moving south, trough not that far away and will only edge closer, no clear indication yet of significant weakening even though the sun is down.
