That's amazing Duckey.
I moved from Croydon North about a year ago. Is that around Warrien reserve?
I live in a similar unsealed road now and wouldn't be surprised if ours looks like that over the next week.

Yep not far off - the "short" end of Holloway Rd, just off Lyons Rd. :)

Great totals and never ceases to amaze me that we can get 60mm down the road in Ringwood yet over here Sniper recording 8mm and Viewbank AWS only 2.6mm. (PS I now my manual rain gauge so just need to work our where to put it - away from prying kiddies :D )

SES crews over in Croydon well and truly flat out but all quiet over this end of town.

Yeah it is amazing, main reason for getting my guage was I often looked at the local weather stations and always felt we got more than them, pretty wet place here

I found the perfect place, in a garden but its nice and open, nothing taller than it and a pathway that it is right next to

12mm today from thundery showers, very still and humid outside, can see a large storm in the north west heading over the border to SA. Radar indicates that this storm is severe and likely to contain large hail. Storms are definitely stronger the further west from here. Will be interesting to see how tomorrow progresses with storms. I think those farmers with hail insurance will be hoping for a storm to wipe out whats left of their crops as rain is ruining what was going to be a bumper season through the wimmera.

They look to be moving pretty fast, and keeping the intensity. I think after they get across the border they will swing south west on the sling around from the low.

No rain here since morning and although the strong easterly has quit, its a high tame looking sky atm.

It seems as though I have found a new friend, or has found me. Was watching TV, when to the surprise of my mum, she spotted a big black spider lazing on the arm of the lounge right where I was sitting!

Really a nothing day here today, no sun, humid and all the action was sth of here. Not really expecting alot here over the next few days but you have to expect that with these type of systems, lucky if you get under a storm and damn frustrating if your not. Waiting until early next week for the real big rain. :D

Rhino. :) :)

That is mortifying in the extreme, I have now turned the light on!!

Nice storms up your way! Much happening lightning wise??

BTW Melbourne residents could wake to storms travelling down from the NNE in the early hours clearing after about 9am.
